Bohemian Garden

I've been inspired by so many of the beautiful images I'm seeing around the internet featuring 'boho chic' styling these days!  Perfect for summer, I wanted to incorporate this feeling into my latest jewelry collection.  At the risk of not wanting to swipe the many gorgeous photos I've found on Pinterest and other sites here on my blog, I might suggest that you search words like 'vintage bohemian' to get an idea of exactly what I was going for.  With a colour palette of lace, wheat, honey, cornflower blue, and morning sky, as well as a focus on florals, I hope these pieces will be both easy for a lazy summer day, and special enough for a garden party or wedding.

All of these pieces will be available in my Etsy shoppe on Sunday, June 9.  Please feel free to contact me prior to that if you have any questions.  Merci beaucoup for stopping by and have a beautiful summer weekend, mes amis!  x o

A Simple Summer Day

With the weather this nice, I try to get out and take walk in my neighborhood each day.  I usually walk to the post office first (with packages to customers!), then around some of the residential streets nearby.

I'm reminded of how fortunate I am to live among such beauty, and today I wanted so share these simple pleasures with you.

I've always loved the gargoyles adorning this house; they remind me of the ones on the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris!

I also finished up some earrings today that I've just listed in my Etsy shoppe...

Please stay tuned next time for my 'bohemian garden' collection, coming soon!  Until then, I hope you're all enjoying the simple joys of summer!  :)

Windows

This week my jewelry features little 'windows' with vintage prayer card images peeking out from inside...

There is something so magical about an old glass locket or frame pendant,

the mystery revealed in its secret compartment.

And a rhinestone bird flies inside the leather and lace 'window' of an old steel cut buckle in this light-hearted bracelet...

I was lucky to find this old lion's head segment at a recent flea market jaunt.  That's what I love about the hunt; you never know what you might discover!

This weekend is our local gem show, so I'll hope to have lots of pretty new stones and components to offer on The Paris Carousel, coming soon!  Merci beaucoup for stopping by!  :)
