Baby, It's Cold Outside

You know it's cold outside when even the trees are wearing sweaters!  Actually, we can't complain here in northern California, but I couldn't help but smile (and snap a few pics) when I saw these yarn-bombed trees while lunching downtown with my parents earlier this week.

Back in my warm and cozy studio, I whipped up a few new necklaces and a pair of earrings now listed in my Etsy shoppe.

Have a wonderful Superbowl weekend!  x o

Vacation Memories

With summer nearly over and children heading back to school, most of us can say 'au revoir' to our summer vacations.  This week, I thought it would be nice to try and preserve these holiday memories with some travel-inspired pieces, and a few cheery earrings as well.

Have a great week, mes amis!  :)

The Classics

Bonjour, mes amis! I've been busy in the studio this week, refreshing my Etsy shoppe inventory, as well as getting some items ready to ship off to a new account in New Orleans I just acquired! I've kept the new pieces true blue, with classic themes such as a cameo, vintage mourning brooch, Virgin Mary prayer card locket and, bien sur, Joan of Arc, a fleur de lis and Eiffel Tower! Isn't this antique enamel violin adorable? I hope you've enjoyed these classics with me! Have a beautiful week (with longer days)! Yay! :)

April in Paris

Bonjour, mes amis! I've been playing with the colour combination of blue and gold this week...

I love the juxtaposition of cool and warm...

Rain and sunshine...

This portrait pendant is so peaceful, complemented by an antique goldtone locket into which I've placed an image and text from an old prayer card.

These earrings feature old religious medals from France and vintage filigree findings with emerald green rhinestones.

And I've entitled this piece, featuring an old Eiffel Tower pendant, none other than 'April in Paris' since it reminds me of walking along the Seine River while spring flowers bloom.

Please stay tuned for more new designs featuring raspberry and rhinestones! Have a beautiful weekend! :)
