I've never subscribed to the old adage that you can't wear white shoes after Labor Day. And so, with this holiday soon approaching, I wanted to celebrate the ivory footwear I so love, and hope you'll feel empowered to join me in taking a stand (pun intented) by enjoying wearing your white shoes all year long.
What a coincidence!!! I started working on a post just a few minutes ago about who makes these rules of no white shoes before Memorial day or after Labor day. :-D I suspect it was a "lady of society" who did not have what she thought she needed to wear at a certain time. :-D Enjoy your evening. Amazingly beautiful shoe collection! I have to show you the shoes I got married in (my first marriage, 24 years ago). They are slightly off white satin in by Peter Fox in a victorian style with the big bows. I still love them. They no longer fit but I could never give them up. Hmmm, maybe use them for a photo shoot? Lovely post Robyn. Au revoir, ♥Danette
