A New Old Direction

With the dawn of a new year fast approaching, I'm making a resolution to get back to my roots, so to speak.

Since my last post, in which I told you of my prospective wholesale venture, I've been a little worried over figuring out cost of materials, profit margins, retail value, etc.

That, coupled with a busy work schedule, led to a mini creative block.

But since I've had a few days off spent with family and a good chat with a friend, I've come to realize that I can't give up my passion, whatever the price.

I needed to remember the reason why I titled my business The French Circus in the first place.

It was because I wanted my jewelry to be fun, to have a sense of whimsy

and not take itself so seriously.

And here I was taking my business a little too seriously for my own good.

So I've come to the conclusion that I will follow my heart's desire...

and hope that others will love what I do too,

whether on Etsy, or the wholesale / retail market.

And once I came to this decision,

a new old direction, if you will,

my creativity started to flow again

and I daresay I even had FUN!

So I'll leave you with the rest of this blog post telling its own story in pictures.

Pretty fun, wouldn't you say?

Thank you for stopping by and I wish all of you a very Happy New Year and that you always follow your heart's desire. x o Robyn
