A New Box of Crayons

The gem show is in town this weekend (yay!) and I spent the entire day there yesterday! I was like a child in a toy store, and came home with what I like to refer to as a new box of crayons! When you're a jewelry designer, your gemstones are your palette, your paints, if you will. I am so happy to have new colours in stock, perfect to carry us through the spring season! Citrines, aquas, grass greens... soft pinks and berry reds! Just look at these yummy baroque pearls! And, as if that isn't enough to tease and tempt you... I will be launching a new line of jewelry later this week! Called, 'The French Circus Trend', it will be geared toward a simpler, more streamlined look and accessible price point. I'm so excited and hope you will stay tuned to see the new pieces! Until then, have a very Happy Easter, everyone! :)

Juicy Fruit

I've been noticing lots of bright fruity colours in the stores and fashion magazines, so this week I incorporated touches of raspberry pink, cherry red, lemony citrine and limey emerald green for a dose of spring, no matter where in the country (or world!) you live. ;) I'll also be attending a large gem show this weekend to stock up on new stones, so please let me know if you have any special requests! Many thanks for stopping by, mes amis! :)

Warming Trend

I think most of us around the country can agree that we're finally seeing a warming trend in the weather! I've had reports from friends and customers from Boulder to Virginia Beach singing the praises of blooming flowers, green grass and birdsong. And look what I found outside my window this morning! A whole family of deer! I tried to snap their photos, until they started staring at me and getting a little too close for comfort. I figured that was a good time to put the lens away. ;) I've also been on a warming trend in the studio, using rich bronze, worn leather and golden citrine to spice up this week's jewels. Have a weekend filled with sunshine! :)

Just to Make You Smile

A quick note to show you some slightly quirky pieces I made this week... earrings featuring boy and girl charms and vintage rhinestone engagement rings, a gothic tintype bracelet, and and a classic cameo goes to Paris. Just to make you smile! :) Have a beautiful week, mes amis! :)
