This week I'm trying to make sense of the new Blogger format (how am I doing so far?), and wanted to go easy on myself by just sharing some pictures of the details of my most recent designs. OK, I can see that my photos still aren't centered and the text is wrapping around weird, but at least I figured out how to type in between the pictures. (Special thanks to Glenda of Dab of This and That for explaining it to me!) If anyone knows how to center the photos with this new format, I would be very grateful for that mysterious piece of information too! ;) Providing that I can get my formatting back to normal, I'd also like to try a new feature on my blog... Since I've noticed that many of my readers are other jewelry designers or those aspiring to try their hand at it, I am planning to offer some simple tutorials. My idea is to feature one piece of jewelry and explain my design process and how I assembled it. How does that sound? I would love your feedback, ideas and suggestions for what you would like to see! Of course, first it looks like I will be needing a tutorial on how this new Blogger format works! Thank you in advance for your help and patience with my formatting issues, and I look forward to your suggestions about some jewelry tutorials! Enjoy your weekend, everyone! :) Robyn

  1. I have been stumbling with this format since it changed. When I post a picture, it automatically posts in the center(?), then if I click on the picture it is highlighted in blue and below it is a line of options to change size, move to left, right, center, etc. After you make the change, be sure and move your cursor off the line of options and click to remove it. Hope this makes sense - if not, let me know and I will email you a pic of the screen. I wonder why your format has just now been changed - I thought "they" switched all of us over at the same time.
As far as the tutorials - I need all the help I can get. :-D

  2. I think that everyone is having problems with this new format from what I have read, so you are not alone!
As far as the tutorials, maybe one day with your help I will be able to create a piece of assemblage jewelry too!!

  3. Wish I could help with the formatting, but I'm still trying to figure out how to blog properly at the moment...you know more than I do! I haven't written since they've changed the formatting, so I'm not sure :(
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a tutorial from you! Even though I've started making my own jewelry a few months ago, I still need the hang of things...like I'm trying a multi-strand necklace at the moment and I'm crossing my fingers it will hang correctly! I'd love to see a demo on that!
Thank you Robyn! And as always...gorgeous selection! You never tire my eyes ;-)

  5. What beautiful designs you create Robyn, especially that pearl necklace with the Marie Antoinette medallion. That green beaded purse is also a luxe find! And yes to the tutorials, I'd love to see your thought process in action!
