Super Bounty Sunday

While all the boys were watching football yesterday, about 10,000 of my closest friends and I were at the Alameda Flea Market, enjoying remarkable 70-degree sunshine, if not the long parking lot lines. As a new blogger, I am not yet in the habit of bringing my camera everywhere I go and was so sorry I'd forgotten it yesterday! But, I did snap these photos of my 'bounty' when I returned home. Looks like I'll be very busy over the next few weeks 'upcycling' these treasures! Who won the game, anyway?

I couldn't resist this enameled Spanish fan pin that really opens and closes.

Rosaries, rhinestones, mosaics... oh my!

Chunky French pendants!

A sterling birdcage pin and 1941 military medal.

Look at this adorable sterling silver stagecoach charm. It reminds me of Cindarella.

Sweet little cameo earrings just waiting to be repurposed.

Au revoir for now. :)

  1. Ooooh, I guess I'm glad I wasn't out there fighting you for all this goodness;-) What a great jewelry haul. You're going to be a busy gal.

  2. Hi, Betsy! The market was a lot of fun, but very crowded! If you decide to go some time, I would recommend getting an early start to avoid the traffic. ;)

  3. I am just gasping at each of your photos!! What a wonderful haul!!!! Looks like you've got plenty to keep you busy!! By the way, out Green Bay Packer won--YAY!!

  4. Great finds Robyn!!! You do have the eye for the beautiful and cool. I love the Napolean medal, and I really LOVE that little carriage charm! I've never seen one like that, Very Nice!

  5. Hello, ladies! Thank you for continuing to check in on me - it really means so much. I love that we can share inspiration and ideas across the miles. :)

  6. Wow! You did find some treasures! I would have rather been at the flea market also. Just finding your blog - will check out more of your posts.
    Enjoy your weekend.
