Super Bounty Sunday

While all the boys were watching football yesterday, about 10,000 of my closest friends and I were at the Alameda Flea Market, enjoying remarkable 70-degree sunshine, if not the long parking lot lines. As a new blogger, I am not yet in the habit of bringing my camera everywhere I go and was so sorry I'd forgotten it yesterday! But, I did snap these photos of my 'bounty' when I returned home. Looks like I'll be very busy over the next few weeks 'upcycling' these treasures! Who won the game, anyway?

I couldn't resist this enameled Spanish fan pin that really opens and closes.

Rosaries, rhinestones, mosaics... oh my!

Chunky French pendants!

A sterling birdcage pin and 1941 military medal.

Look at this adorable sterling silver stagecoach charm. It reminds me of Cindarella.

Sweet little cameo earrings just waiting to be repurposed.

Au revoir for now. :)

  2. Hi, Betsy! The market was a lot of fun, but very crowded! If you decide to go some time, I would recommend getting an early start to avoid the traffic. ;)
